Laser Hair Removal

Has anyone ever had it? Does it really work? Did the hair grow back?

I have done it twice on my underarms. I need to go back probably 2 more treatments. I'd say the hair is half gone, so it does work. She told me it generally takes 4-5 treatments on that area. I'll let you know how long it stays gone. Two of my coworkers did it almost 2 years ago, theirs has stayed gone.

Both my SIL's have had their legs done and both said that it was a waste of money. A year later and their hair has grown back and they still have to shave their legs as often as before. One of them has very dark hair and the other is a red head with lighter hair. Neither are happy with their results. I was going to give it a try but after their results decided to spend the money on lasik for my eyes instead.

I can vouch for Lasik. I had that 3 1/2 years ago and it has been great. Money well spent!!

Love laser hair removal. I had 5 treatments and it is working like a charm. They said that I may have to come about once a year for maintainance...but to me it is well worth it.

I think it depends on where (on your body) you have it done. It's been worth it to me. I have had 5-6 treatments and am going in for my final treatments in a couple of weeks.

Yes it is. If you read the comments from the poster right above mine you will see that the poster stated they were going to save their money for that instead so I responded by telling her that I had that done and it was great.

I have a couple of friend who have had their bikini area done and love it. I'm dying to do it but it's SO expensive, I just don't think I can justify it.

If you go ahead with the laser hair removal please let us know how it works for you. I would love to get that if I knew for sure it would be permanent. I'm just wary because of my two SIL's.
