I have an upcoming Vegas Trip (Saturday May 26)...
This time, I have a friend coming. We are going to be staying at the flamingo hotel. This is not my first trip to vegas (i went to college in vegas and been to a lot).
If you are a resident of Las Vegas or a person who visits Vegas a lot, what do you recommend to a first timer?

Other places like Rio, has the show in the sky, that is free and you can watch it while gambling or eating or hanging around the casino. If there is any specific hotel/casino they have heard a lot about or want to visit, make sure to make that a priority. I know for a price you can get a helicopter tour of the strip at night, I have never done it, but my DH has, and he loved it! I just recently learned that spending time just relaxing by the pool for a few hours or so, is a great way to spend vacation, no matter where you are, but especially in Vegas, as the days are just so hot there, and everything major happens at night anyway.
