How far away is vegas from Disneyland.
We will be driving from Wisconsin and would like to do this if is on the way but don't want to go out of the way a couple of hours?

If you're driving from Wisconsin I assume you've looked at a map or two and have an idea of what states you want to pass through. Mapquest gives the route from WI to Anaheim going right through Vegas on I-15, so you might be in luck, so to speak. If you're taking I-40 you'll pass about 90 miles south of Vegas. Otherwise it will be a few hundred miles off of the direct route.

Vegas should be about a 4 hour drive but depending on traffic it could take much longer. They are doing construction on the 15 so it goes down to one lane in several places which can really cause a back up. I don't know how long they will be doing the road work though so if you're not coming real soon you might be in luck.

We just came back from Vegas on Tuesday. We live in Corona which is about 30 minutes (depending on traffic) from Anaheim. We left Sun. a.m. and returned Tues. p.m. Traffic was not a problem. We are aobut 240 miles from Vegas so add about 30 more to Anaheim. As to how long it'll take, depends on traffic, how often you stop, and how fast you drive. We kept it at 75 most of the time and alot of cars passed us doing 85+ (I did think people would have slowed down a little to save on gas) Oh, and speaking of gas, it was cheaper in Vegas (off the main drag) than it is here in Corona. I paid $3.25 for regular before leaving and $3.09 in vegas. Make sure you don't have to fill up in Baker, along the way, it was almost $4 there.

If you'll be stopping in Vegas on the way to or from Wisconsin, I can't help you on how far out of the way it is. Sorry.
Have fun.

Are you stopping anywhere on the way there or the way back?

We made the trip from the Midwest to DL last summer. We left Anaheim and headed for Zion National Park in Utah. We had to take I-15, so we went right through Las Vegas. We only spent a couple hours there, but know when we watch CSI, we can say we’ve been there!

I can tell you, there isn’t a lot to look at between LA and LasVegas!
