I have been looking for a couple months now for flights from Vegas to Orlando. everything has been pretty pricey xcept for spiritair which i do not want to fly because of negative reviews. Southwest usually has 2 non stop trips a day which is awesome but they are like $230 one way. The cheapest I have seen it was $214 one way. OWW. Last night I was browsing orbitz or one of those websites and came across Delta airlines. The day I wanted to fly 9/16 they have a non stop flight but leaves at 10pm and gets there at 6am. ow again. for another time its over $100 more. So I then started looking for 9/15 (my bday :]) and there were better times. I am about to book myself a Roundtrip flight to Orlando for $240 a person :] Not bad, eh? Just wanted to share with you guys incase you want to book through Delta, it might be alot cheaper now. I mean ALOT like it was for me. Both flights though are 1 stop flights but i'd rather save a couple hundred then getting a non stop flight.

I know i have a couple months to book but i have even looked at southwests times for this month, next month and the month after and the cheapest flight i found was like $164 one way going there next month. So Delta sounds like its the best option.

Also, Im not sure who to book with. Orbitz or directly through Delta. They are the same price but Orbitz has the price assurance if a customer books through orbitz at a cheaper price, i get a refund of the difference. I know its a slim chance.

Book directly through the airline. It's much easier to deal with the airline than Orbitz if there is a problem. A fare of $240 RT from LAS is good; I'd book it.

The reason the 10 pm flight on Delta is cheaper is because it is a red-eye flight, which most people do not like.

When you book your flight with Delta, an ad for the Delta Amex card will pop up. If you apply and qualify (instantly), you will get $50 or so dollars off your tickets, 30 to 50K miles in your Delta Skymiles account AND a free checked bag for each person travelling with you for the next year. There is NO annual fee for the first year either.

I've been finding discounts on Delta too from time to time. I'm still holding out for Southwest a little longer but I'm about to give up. Forget about the other airlines too.
