larger party questions

We will have a party of 9 for most of our meals, but each family will be paying for their own. Has anyone found it difficult to get the rest. to separate the bills? It would need to be 3 separate ones for us. Also, do they add 15% gratuity automatically in this case. If so, even at the buffets?

We were just a WDW with a group of 13 and we needed to split checks. We didn't have any problems with this, except at Chef Mickey's where they only let us split it 3 ways. In your case that wouldn't be problem though. They did add the gratuity at most restaurants even when we split the checks.
