I've been calling in this week to try and get ADRs at CRT for the week of January 22nd. When I called yesterday, there were times available on the Monday and Thursday but the CM said that they would have to split our party of 9 or 10 (depending on the day) up with no guarantee that we would be seated together. I ended up passing on those times and booked Princess breakfast on another day that week as they had a reservation for 10 available that day. When I called again this morning, the CM offered me one on the 24th, saying that it would be two tables but the ADR was at 815 so I jumped on it and booked it just in case. She did suggest calling back tomorrow as they will open up more times as it will be the true 90 day window rather than the 90 +10 window. On to my question: Is it even possible to get an ADR for 9-10 people seated together at CRT, or should I be wiling to settle for 2 tables?

We were a party of 8 when we did CRT breakfast last August. I wasn't told when I made the reservation that we would be split up, but when we arrived, we were told we would be seated at 2 tables - and they weren't even next to each other! It was fine, though. At least we were there! We really enjoyed the food and the princess interaction - got lots of autographs and pictures!

We were there last week with a party of 16! We were seated at different tables and they were together. I did call 90 days out and exactly at 6:58, I started to dial. If you don't get it now, keep calling and maybe someone will cancel and you could get your group together.... You never know...Good Luck!

I haven't really seen parties that big at CRT. Granted, I've only eaten there twice- ;) . I would keep the reservation for 2 tables if it's really important for you to eat there. Maybe they can be close to each other? Have you tried calling the line for magical gatherings? I think you need 8 or more to do this. Good luck!

We were there this summer, with a party of 9, were not told it would be two tables, but it was, next to each other. The prior time we were there, there were 7 of us and we still had two separate tables. Only once did we all get seated together - a party of 6 one summer, but it was way away from the windows, near the kitchen entrance. There are certain places that just arent set up to seat larger parties and I think this is one of them.

we have crt ressies for 8 people and were told the two table thing too... i'm just wondering if we can put the kids at one table and the adults at the other ;)

We also were a group of 11 this summer and we were seated at two different tables. They told me this over the phone when I made the ressies. The table were close to each other, but not next to each other.

We've done large parties at CRT breakfast three times- all three times with 11 people. All three times, we were at separate tables that were directly beside each other. We were told we weren't guaranteed to be together, but I think if you are all under the same reservation you will be. It actually worked out better b/c we had two sets of children- cousins- with us and the separate tables made it easier for the kids to maneuver around to see the characters, get autograph books, etc. I wouldn't worry at all about the separate tables. In three trips to WDW with my family of 11, we've always been seated at tables next to each other at every meal. Have fun!!!

I think the key with a big party is to get ADRs as close to opening or closing time as possible. We had reservations for lunch at CRT at noon on October 3, 2005; groups of 10 and 4. We asked to be seated together, and they put us at 3 tables right next to each other along the short wall in the back of the restaurant. Great view for those of us looking out!

In fact, we had reservations for large groups (11-20) all week. We were always seated within 10 minutes of our ADR time, and were always together. Although we may have been at separate tables, they were right next to each other. At Ohana we had a huge table for 16!! I think it worked out so well because our ADRs were all for early lunch or dinner hours or late breakfast hours.

We ate at CRT for dinner last week and we had a party of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids). When I made the ressies I was told we would be at two tables, but when we got there I asked if we could be seated together. I was told if we were willing to wait about 20 minutes we could. So we waited and we all ended up at one table. I did see some longer tables than ours, so I know they can seat larger parties (8-10 people), but there were only like 2, so not many big parties at a time.

Thanks for all of your responses! I'll keep on trying for a better set up but I feel lucky to have gotten the ressie at all! Our ADR is for 815, so hopefully the place wont be full at that time and they'll be more flexible with the seating.

We are a party of 9 and all the ressies for all 9 of us are split tables.

Called in again this morning and got our first choice - Lunch at noon on the 25th. While they will have to split us into to groups since we have 10 people, the CM thought that there shouldnt be any trouble seating us together since it is the first seating for lunch that day.

Thanks again for all of your help and encouragement.

Just a little aside....we dont mind, being a large party having the 18% tip already on the bill (we would tip that or more anyway), but since they put us at different tables AND we had different servers (one was a stand-out much better than the other - we even finished at very different times because of the poor service at one of the tables) - I think they should have left the tipping choice up to us. And not considered us a group of 9, but of 4 and 5.

We were a party of 11 and were all seated together. The CM told me that there is really only one set-up that can accomodate a party of that size so therefore it is EXTREMELY difficult to snag. The first morning I called I was told we would be at separate tables but I was able on a subsequent morning to get the one long table.
