Hi

I am a larger lady at 250lbs, are there any rides in both Universal and Islands od Adventure that I would not fit on or is there a place I can find this info.

Many thanks

I don't know if there's any websites that have that information. It's hard to tell until you actually go on the rides because everyone is shaped differently. Some of the rides have demo seats outside the ride you can test out to see if you'll be able to get the lap bar down over you or not. I've seen the demo seats outside of the Hulk and the Mummy. Usually larger people have trouble with the roller coasters, due to the lap bars. My dad is over 300 lbs and he can't go on any of the coasters except for the Mummy and he just barely fit on that, mainly cause his legs are so long.

Hulk and the Dragon coasters might pose a problem, but maybe not, hard to say. If you want to be sure, stick to rows 3 and 6, they have differently-configured seats which you should be fine in.

I'm over 250lbs and my DH is almost 400. We've never had a problem anywhere. We don't do coasters so I can't comment on those but never a problem on any other ride.

I am a man that wieghs about 285 and the first time I went to IOA and rode the Hulk in 2005 the only problem was the harness fit real tight to my chest but managed to ride it anyway and the reason for that was not so much that I am over wieght but due to I use to lift wieghts and my chest is bigger than most guys but everything else I had no problem and this past june when we went didn't get to ride some things due to DS 11 didn't want to so had to wait outside with him but same thing no problem riding and like another poster said there are test seats out in front and the way I see it is I love Universal and if I don't get to ride something oh well at least I got to be there.:thumbsup2

I am 5 11 and weigh 300 lbs. On our June trip I was not able to ride Hulk,Dueling Dragons or Dr. Doom.I rode the Mummy but was very unconfortable and had a very hard time getting in and out of Rip Saw Falls.Like someone said before it will all depend on you are shaped, I am built like a wrestler or weight lifter with a large chest and my stomach is hard with little "wiggle room" which made it hard to get the restraints to latch.

I'm about 230 lbs and have never had any problems fitting on anything.

My mother, is a larger lady than I (I couldn't tell you her exact weight, being that I don't know it, and it would be rude anyway) and the only thing I ever recall her flat out -not- being able to get on is Dr. Doom's Fearfall. She's typically gotten into Dueling Dragons and The Hulk both fine using rows 3 and 6. She does occasionally have to squeeze a bit more with The Mummy, but gets in. I never recall her having trouble with anything else.

As others have said, I think alot of it also depends on how your weight is distributed. Your build, as it were.

The only ride I've had problems getting into is The Hulk...if I don't use row 3 or 6. I'm 6'2" and about 240 lbs and it's a tight uncomfortable squeeze on the other rows. :rolleyes1
