Larger crowds this year @ MVMCP + Dec ??

Does anyone anticipate a larger than usual crowd at the parks in Dec?
We've been getting a lot feedback from hotel attendants etc giving us the impression that it's going to be much busier this year.

I've never been to WDW in Dec but I definately enjoy visiting when the crowds aren't as bad as the summer months or Spring Break (the worst!)

Any comments from others out there as to what we may expect for our trip (dec 11-15)?

I know what you mean. It does seem like there are a lot of people going in December. We usually do go this time of year because it isn't very crowded. I'm hoping for the best this trip because I hate to wait in long lines all the time. Good luck on your upcoming trip and congratulations on your first anniversary.

We usually go in September when the crowds are low, so this will be a new experience for us too. One thing that I think will help is that the weather is cooler, so standing in line won't be so hot. I am hoping that helps to make up for the longer waits .

We are going with the attitude that the parks will be beautiful and we are going to enjoy the decorations. We 'hope' to get in some of our favorite rides, and will be using Fastpass (which isn't all that necessary in September, so this will be a new experience for us too).

Enjoy your trip! I am sure even a crowded day at WDW will be wonderful!

I really hope that it isn't crowded in December. I've ben there during that time nine years, and each year it gets more crowded.
I think a lot of people do go during this time, because every guide book and website says to do so. Times during september and january and going to be the very slow times this year I think. MVMCP is a good way to get some park time.

We will be staying at OKW too. I love that place.

My mom + fam went to WDW in Dec of 2001 and the crowds were very minimal. But I imagine that was b/c of it being post 9-11.

As long as we don't have the summer heat and humidity , I'll be prepared to brave any crowds.

MVMCP will give some extra time and should be awesome too.
