My husband is a big guy, not tall but big around. Does anyone know if there are problems with any particular rides or attractions where he would be told he couldn't ride? On our honeymoon (of all times), he was told in front of a large group of people waiting to go on a horseback ride in mexico that he was "too fat" and too heavy for the horses. He was humiliated and when the cruise line found out about it we were refunded our money. I don't want him to have that happen again so I wanted to see if anyone had experiences like this at the World.

My DBF is pooh sized as some tend to say. He has a 54 in waist and has ridden with no problems most of the rides at WDW with no problem. Hasnt riden TOT( doesnt like this type of ride) and EE (wasnt open yet). BUt he has rode Splas Mt, Space Mt, BTMRR, Rock & Roller Coaster, Dinosaur just to name a few.

Here is a pic of my DBF and Me. This is about the only themepark my DBF can ride anyrides at all.

The link that you got above to the AllEarsNet site has been a resource that I have referred people to and looked to for my own use for about 5 years now. WDW is pretty friendly to the Pooh-sized folks.....thank God! I am so sorry that your hubby was treated so poorly on your other vacation. After 4 great WDW vacations in 5 years and another planned for October of 2007, I have never had any issues with how I was treated by any CM. Happy Planning! Maggie
