Large Groups

I was wondering for all of you who have taken a large group 20+ what kinds of things did you plan together? It seems to me to get everyone together for PS would be to hard.

I am asking this because I am already planning a trip for Nov 2006 with 10 people and just found out that my husband's work is planning a trip for around the same time. I think it would be nice to do one or two activities altogether, but I don't know how difficult it would be to do so. I would love to suggest a couple of things to the coordinator of the trip.

Any ideas, information, or tips would be extremely helpful

We just got back last week - a group of 21! - and we really enjoyed the campfire/sing-along at Ft. Wilderness. It's FREE to anyone staying on property. Chip and Dale take time for pictures with everyone. Then they show an outdoor movie. It was a very relaxing evening, and as mentioned before, free!

It's difficult, in my opinion, to move a group of 21 through the parks for an extensive period of time. We met at late afternoon for supper and then rode classics together as a family before catching the fireworks together at the end of the day.

One of our visists was a family reunion trip with 19 people. We planned dinners and a few breakfasts together, but left the rest up to the individual families. Worked great for us. Just one note on restaurants- we found that buffet meals (especially with children) worked better with a large group because the food is immediately available. Standard table-service places took a looooooong time to get the food out since they were attempting to serve everyone in our large group at the same time.
