Large group Max pass

I posted in max pass thread but i think it got lost.

We have a group of 14 people going during Christmas week. I used MP on our last visit but it was just DH and two kids so i handled the MP with my phone. From reading through different threads i have a few questions and want to make sure i understand correctly.

--I can scan everyone in to a party and just select all for a MP? Last trip i just selected one at a time I didn't see or look for the option because it was not necessary.
--Will I be able to get 14 MP tickets at the same time for rides? Anyone experience with large groups?
--We can all just use the ticket to scan in right?My phone or anyone is not needed after selecting a MP?
--Once I have added everyone tickets to my account ca they still add to theirs? Can say one of the families add their own tickets to their own account also with MP?

Last year i remembered to scan our ticket in to the app but I got held up a bit because we also had to sign out tickets. We can add and sign tickets before hand right? That way all they do is take a picture? I usually forget and we usually only have 3-6 people with us but i do not want to hold up the lines with 14 people.

Well that i a question i do know. Yes you can scan them in to the app before going into the park.

Yes. Ticket and app can be used interchangeably to redeem FP.

Ok great. That will help a lot. I can book MP on my phone for everyone either for the same ride or different ride and we can just split up and everyone has their MP on their ticket.

1) It depends on availability, of course, but yes. I don't know whether there's a limit to how many tickets one account can manage, but you can book FPs on all the ones you are managing at once.
2) Yes, each person can just scan their own ticket after you book the FP
3) Yes - the ticket doesn't care how many accounts it's added to. Each person can scan all of the tickets into their own app.

Thanks this helps alot. Since its 3 families going even though i will be doing the booking I want all of them to be able to have their own tickets also on the app. You would still only pay for MP once for the icket right. no matter to how many accounts it is added?

Yes, you would still pay for mp once.

So if everyone individually scans their own tickets and pays for their own MaxPass, if I then scan their ticket it will automatically be show as having a maxpass and I just need to add it to a MP party?


Also - can you have different groups like MP party 1 with just me, my mom and niece, then MP 2 with more people . .or do you have to do just unclick them if you don't want to include them in the MP?


And if someone adds me to a MP on their phone, can I remove it on my phone?

While I've never attempted to combine separate groups of MaxPass purchases, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work as you say. However, I would scan everyone's tickets ahead of time. When they purchase their MP, their ticket on your phone would be activated for MP. In fact, that's actually quite a good idea. I wonder if my friend and I (we already have all four tickets scanned into our phones) can each purchase MP just for our two or if we have to purchase for all four. I guess I'll find out Friday.

And if someone adds me to a MP on their phone, can I remove it on my phone?

Yes. Just cancel it.

Let me know what you find out about purchasing with existing tickets on the app. It was my understanding you have to purchase it AFTER your ticket is scanned at entry. But I haven't used it yet. I don't have any intention of paying for my friend's MAXPASS, so if it makes you pay for all tickets on the app, I will wait. I can't think it would though.

You check mark a box to buy maxpass for only the checked tickets.

To make a maxpass reservation you check the tickets that want to ride. Then someone else (or you) can make another maxpass for some or all of the other tickets.

Thanks. I've used MP before, but that was when it was just my family and we bought and rode all together. I've never done it with separate parties before.
