Is it possible to do Fast Passes for large groups? 50 people? We have a huge reunion group with several families going and they are defaulting to me to handle their planning. "I don't care, just do what ever you do," is what I'm hearing. Can I link that many people to my Friends and Family account and make everyone's Fast Passes at the same time?

Disney is suggesting that everyone create their own MDE account; I'm not sure I can get them all to do it and us it. Can I link their almost 20 rooms to my account and do it all from my account? I know Disney doesn't "prefer" this, but it sure would be easier for me.

Any suggestions for scheduling FP for a large group?

IMHO, every distinct family unit should have their own MDE account.

If you add all 50+ people to your MDE account as managed profiles, you are going to have a VERY cluttered MDE profile after the trip is over. If each family has their own MDE account, you can easily remove connected friends (those with their own MDE account) from your Family & Friends list (if desired) once the trip is over.

I have an MDE for my family of 7 and my BFF has an MDE for her family of 10 and our two MDEs are linked. Having 17 people pop up all the time kinda sucks. We are having 1 meal together and just planning 2 days of FPs together. Booked Tusker House 185 days out for 17 people and the closest time to noon we could get was 2:40.

Best advice for ADR.... book smaller groups for lunch at Be Our Guest and it's open seating, so you can still sit together with separate reservations.

I am sure that others will have better tips for how to link everyone and copy FPs over to everyone.

Good luck herding 50 people, you are brave.

I think you'd have a hard time finding 50 FP all for the same time... This last trip I booked FP for 5 (versus our usual 3) and even with that it seemed like the choices were more limited.

I'm not worried about meals; don't think there will be any sit downs involved. I'm curious as how many FP entries are in the system for each time frame. I agree, that I don't want them linked to my primary account. Is it against the rules to create a "burner" account with a another email that I have that I only use for this group? Its mostly teens.

I would pick a morning park and an evening park so that some can join in each and have every family pick their own 3 FP at either park. Then pick some firework shows, parades and maybe fantasmic and invite everyone to join. Maybe pick a couple emh or eeh and see who has interest in that.

Having done a few multi family trips - all family once and family and friends there is no way I would take responsibility to book other peoples fp+ selections. Even when your together it would be almost impossible to move as a group due to someone wanting... coffee, ice cream, bathroom break etc. Each family should have the responsibility of their own trip = and it doesn't come back to you that little Sally never got to meet XXXX...

Yeah, I think trying to get 50+ to move together as a group will be extraordinarily difficult, nevermind getting reservations and such. For FPs, I would send a group message to the families and let them know how to reserve FPs- and then let them book (or not) as they choose. And with a group of 50+ family members, I'm guessing at least some may be too short or have other conditions preventing them from riding some attractions. Which would make booking stuff even more challenging.

For a group like this, it would likely be easier and way less stressful to just plan on trying to get meals together, and then let the group split into smaller groups to do things. Good luck!

Maybe they could get a big flag the leader could hold up in front of the group? :teeth:

We've done 26 in a group before. It used to be more doable in the era before MDE and FP+. I'm surprised Disney doesn't put you in touch with the tour group folks to arrange for similar FP times for such a big group. What we did last trip is we appointed a "family leader" from each of the 7 "families" that went. we all got on a conference call at our 180 Mark (and again at 30 days for FPs) and we all made our reservations together. Worked great, and everyone was responsible for their own stuff.

There are options for dining together - you just want to call Disney's Group Dining line early - and they usually put you in touch with individual restaurants to make arrangements. Obviously, some restaurants can handle huge groups easier than others. Biergarten and Via Napoli ? Usually doable. Be Our Guest ? Forget it.

One more uninvited suggestion? Maybe pick one meet-up time per day instead of planning all day together? Or perhaps one or two full days together and the rest on your own? I think if you were to suggest that to your family, you might be surprised by how many would prefer it that way.

For the one meet-up time per day, you could say: Epcot on the UK side at 7, move country by country until Illuminations at 9. Or, meet at the People Mover at 7 for a ride and the dance party and ice cream until Fireworks at 9. No fastpasses required, just make sure everyone is done with their plans by 7.

I suspect you will all be better friends at the end of the week this way ;)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I know its not ideal. It's not how I would plan it if the group wasn't predominately teenagers. We really don't care about meals together. It's mostly teens and we were going to use the Fast Pass times as the "mandatory" checkin. The rest of the time during the day, everyone will be doing their own things. In previous trips, we have tried everyone do their own thing and it made it nearly impossible for everyone to checkin at the same times. Hoping this may focus them more. It may be an epic fail, but its something different than what hasn't worked in the past.
