Large families what vehicle do you rent?

For the last 3 years when we have a group of 7 traveling, we have rented a 12 passenger van and it has worked out great. Before that when there was only 5 or 6 we still had problems with all the luggage fitting. Price has been cheaper than getting 2 cars. This year the lowest price I am getting for November is $800!! This almost double from previous years.
So what do the rest of you big groups do?
We could split up and both DH and I would drive separate cars but its so much easier with kids being in 1 vehicle. Our other adults are the grandmoms(60 and 71) and they will not want to drive.

Has anyone ever used Carl's Van Rental? They have much better price and offer airport pickup to their office.

If you post your dates and pick up and drop off times, there are many people here who could help you find something cheaper. Without that info, there is no way to help you out.

We always do two cars when we are an extended family. We don't do everything together or sometimes want to leave before others, so having two cars is always a plus. We leave next week and its 4 adults and 2 kids (one in car seat) and we have a full size and an SUV rented. This is what works for our family and we've been doing it this way for many years now. Of course, the grown kids all drive now, but we couldn't do it until they were 25. Though we could all fit in a minivan, there is no room for luggage.

There are 3 adults and three kids and we have always gotten a premium car it's was a lincoln town car. we fit fine and so did all of our luggage.

Thanks, I didn't want to seem like I didn't want to do the legwork myself So I didn't include it in OP.
Arrive MCO 11/3 at 2pm and drop off 11/11 at 1pm.

I currently have a super 8 van from Dollar for $800.
Carls rental van has the same van for around $650, but I get nervous if its not a world-wide rental company.

We have 5 adults and 2 kids (6 and 2). We have 5 suitcases and 5 carry-ons and a stroller. I know that wouldn't fit in the average car with 7 passengers!
