Laptops and early Check in

Hello,

I will be travelling with my laptop and using Disney's Magical Express. My bags won't reach the hotel till much later in the day. The question is, if my laptop is with me as a carry on, and I don't want to take it with me to the parks, what are the safest options? Check it in with Bell services, lockers? Safety deposit boxes?

I would appreciate any help from previous travellers with the same problem.

bell services is fine. never had a problem. if it's not recognizable as a laptop, just let them know and they'll put it in the cage so it doesn't get crushed by accident.

Do you have a good cushioned bag? Personally, we always hit the MK first thing so I took my lap top with me and used a locker at the MK. Try asking upon check in about the safety deposit boxes.

My problem was with the other end of the trip. We checked out in the morning, but didn't have a flight until 7:00 PM. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my briefcase (with laptop) and camera case fit easily in the lockers by the pool.

It hadn't occured to me that there'd be a cage at the bell stand. They held our luggage for us (flying U.S.Airways so no remote check-in), but not our carry-ons.

Our room is rarely ready when we checkin and I always bring a laptop and I've had bell services just hold onto it. They give you a ticket for any luggage or other items they hold so it really is safe. I've never had a problem.

I just use bell services. Never had a problem.

I used Bell Services. Just left my backpack with our carry-ons and let them know that there was a laptop in it. We switched resorts twice & I let them transfer my laptop as well, I just put it in my carry-on suitcase.
