The ONE time I can think of where this would come in handy and not ridiculously dangerous is if you commute with the help of ferryboats. Sure, you could take the laptop up to the seating area and be in a cozy room with coffee and such, on your way off to Bainbridge or Vashon etc, but that takes time. I didn't have a laptop when I was commuting that way but if those two worlds collided, I would have loved this.

Can't think of any other intelligent use for this, though I'm sure there's a couple....
