Laptop security

We are going to DW in May and staying at the Beach Club. I must bring my laptop for work. I've never traveled to a hotel with my laptop ( I don't travel much obviously) so my question is: How best do I protect my laptop? Any recommendations on locks, etc. and where to strore it. Do I need to be concerned?
Also, do any of the rooms have built in internet access?

You can plug your laptop right into the side of the phone. I've always left my laptop out in the open and set up... no problems. I've left it out at the AKL, Yacht Club, Boardwalk villas and All Star Music.

We left ours out the last time we were at WL and had no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

No, I don't think you need to be concerned.
We've taken our laptop several times and as the other op said, just left it out in plain sight. I've never had a problem and I wouldn't think twice about doing it again.

If it makes you feel better you can always put the laptop in a dresser drawer or in the closet. I usually put mine in a drawer.

Don't know where you are staying, but I stayed at AKL in December and I locked mine in the safe each day. Worked out great as there was still room for some other small stuff

we carry 2 laptops on every trip - we own internet sporting goods sites- and have never had a problem at all

I bought a cable lock at Best Buy. It's a long cord with a combination lock loop at the end. You loop it around something solid and hook it into the side of the laptop (make sure yours has a lock slot). While it probably would be 99% safe to just leave out, I feel better having some security.
