I know a lot of people really like the Disney-fied lanyards, but I just don't want to pay that kind of $$ for them. SO... I went to Office Depot and they had lanyards with these great nylon pockets attached. They had clear plastic window (for tickets/fast passes) and then in the back there was a zippered pocket for money, keys...I thought it was fabulous!! The best thing was the price, which was 4 for $10. That was a sale price, so I don't know how long it will last, but even regular price was $3/ea. So if you're not picky about the style of your lanyard, you might want to check it out!

They are great aren't they? I stumbled on these at our Staples and they have the nylon cord instead of the thick strap...is that what yours are like too? Love them!

I got a Disney lanyard that came with 2 pins in the Disney store a couple of days ago. It was on sale for $2.99. It has the plastic card holder on it as well.

i got mine at the Disney store too(Canada) it was on sale $5 with 2 pins. I will need to go check it out again and see if they still have pins on sale!!!

I checked the web site and all they had were some on sale for $12-$20! They closed all our Disney stores except for 1 that is 25 miles away . I'm glad you got a great deal!

I got lanyards for my kids at the dollar store. I want to keep their tickets, so all they'll need is a place to put their trading pins.

I apologize in advance for this dumb question. But no questions are dumb, right ? So it's been 10 years since I have been to WDW and was wondering what people use these lanyards for?

I got a set for my kids to use for pin trading.

My husband and I MAY end up using ours to store our park tickets and stuff, although right now I think I would rather have them in the bag I'll be bringing to the parks. We'll see.

I found some disney lanyards at walmart. They had ones with Mickey Heads, Tinkerbell, and HSM. They came with the plastic pouch as well.

I got lanyards at the World of Disney store in NYC. They have Minnie dressed as the Statue of Libery and a plastic pouch for the KTTW card.

Not sure I'm actually going to wear it. I'm thinking my KTTW card will be safer in my bag. I'm afraid the pouch will fall off and I won't realize it.

We don't use the lanyards for pins, we use it to hold our park passes, FP's, DDE card, ID and a credit card. I hate carrying anything except a camera...so this works for me and there's no fear of stuff falling out of my pockets either.

nice except when I look back at all the photos there it was kinda

what do people use for when they are at the waterparks, so that you don't have to carry your bag every where, just want to have your room key and maybe a credit card and a little cash? Do they have any of these laynards that have waterproof pouches?

We rent a small locker at the waterparks and when we need cash for food we go back to the locker. They do have the waterproof cases on the cords that you are talking about in the water park gift shops though that you can purchase.

ive seen lanyards all over the place and thought about buying them, but really i dont think its the lanyards that cost so, its the pins right? so even if you buy a lanyard ahead of time youll still end up spending $50 on pins, right?
so we'll just buy them as a set in disney i think.
