Hey everyone! For those of you that have been to WDW in the past couple of years did you wear a lanyard with your room key attached or did you use something else? Please tell me where you bought whatever you used too! Thanks for your help in advance!!!:thumbsup2

I bought a little plastic case that was a a nylon cord that could hang around your neck. It was waterproof. I think it was something around 6.00. I bought it in the resort gift shop. I don't have a picture of it. Sorrry.

You can see it in this picture. Hope this helps.:confused3

I was thinking about buying, at WDW, the lanyard that has the plastic pouch attached. I think they sell it as a 'FastPass holder'. It looks like it would be great for holding my park tickets and KTTW.

Has anyone used it? I'm just worried that it would break off somehow or fall off and my tickets would be gone.

We don't bother with lanyards. The room key goes right in our pocket with our cash and ID. Its not like you need ready access to the room key all day so there isn't any reason to have it dangling around your neck.

Thanks OKW Lover! That's just what I wanted to hear! We are going in June and it will be so hot! I don't want anything around my neck that I don't have to wear! :thumbsup2

Glad to help.

And before somebody jumps all over my statement about ready access to the room key; Yes, I know you need it to enter the park and also if you want a fast pass or want to charge something to the room. I just don't find it a chore to pull it out of my pocket on those infrequent occasions.

I put my photoo pass card in the clear pouch and the photographers could swipe my PP card throughthe pastic so I found that super easy.
