Anyone know where I can get a lanyard with one of those clear plastic things attached that can hold credit card sized items? I need to pick one up, not order on line, as I AM LEAVING IN 9 DAYS!

We got one for free using a coupon in the ME vouchers...you also got a free pin. Check there.

I got some at Wal-Mart near the jewelry for 97 cents each.

That's what we got, too. After hearing about them here, I ran out and bought them for the trip. There are 2 kinds, one that holds the cards horizontal (landscape style) and one that hold them vertical (portrait style). I bought 4 of the landscape style ones, and I was glad I did because my kids broke the "zipper" thing (imagine a ziplock baggy) within a day or two of being down there. At least with a landscape style, you don't have to worry about anything falling out if the zipper breaks and it won't close.

We were down there a week and they were sturdy enough that we were able to use them the entire trip and bring them home intact. We each put our room key/ticket in the main section and used the smaller pocket for fast passes.

Have a great trip!!!

Any sporting goods store/department will have them for under $1 as well--they are used to hold fishing licenses.

Also office supply places have them for use as hanging name tags.

Well, I tried my Walmart jewelry department. They had the lanyards but NO plastic card holder. Went over to sporting goods. Lanyard but NO plastic card holder. I will now try an office store on my next trip out and about. Does Staples seem like a good bet?

I see lanyards everywhere, but they don't have plastic card holders attached.

You can get a fishing license holder in the sporting goods section of Walmart (it's about a dollar). It's nice, thick plastic and just the right size. I know this for certain because I just bought two for our daughters to use on our upcoming cruise.

I had quite the adventure looking for the Walmart ones, spanning several hours and multiple trips! They were there, but I had to practically crawl over the entire section to find them - they were hanging on a short blocky floor display that had watches and alarm clocks on it - they are not advertised well so it's easy to miss them.

Maybe I should look again. I had what I thought was a knowledgeable salesperson helpin me in the fishing/sporting area . . . . she knew right where the lanyards were and says they don't have the plastic part. She said she recommends that people use a ziploc and pin it on their clothing. Well, I didn't tell her I needed it for WDE and I'm not fishing . . . . .

The salesperson in the fishing/sporting goods section thought he'd never seen anything like them in the store! Try asking someone at the jewelry counter - the lanyard/holder I found was in that section.

Every WalMart in my area has them, and so do both of the WalMarts in the WDW area.

They are in the jewelry section, on the same rack with wallet windows and accessories.

They look like this:

And of course, that is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I wanted to keep my Fast Passes and tickets in it for easy access. I hate fumbling through a big backpack everytime we need to put our tickets through the FP machine! I went to yet another WalMart and they didn't have them either. I was able to find a lanyard though, minus the plastic sleeve. I found a plastic sleeve in one of the WalMart's fishing sections (see PP above) with a safety pin in it. I was able to remove the pin and put the O ring through the two holes. Hope it works. It will probably be so hot, that it will annoy me, and I won't wear it anyway! But of course, it is something I just "had" to have!

Can someone tell me what ME stands for? (I did check the abbreviation list!!---not there!)

Magical express is the free bus service to and from MCO and all the onsite WDW resort hotels. We love it because we don't have to get our luggage, they get it and deliver it to our room. We get off the airplane and get on the bus after a brief check in for ME.

When WDW sends the vouchers for the ME and luggage tags there is also a coupon for a free lanyard and pin. Ours came with the ID holders. We put our park pass and GAC. It was perfect for the GAC as the CM's could see it very easy and it did not get destroyed in the process. We didn't have to pull it out for each ride, just flipped up our ID holder to show the GAC.

Unfortunately, the entire side ripped out last time the girls went to DL. It was only the second park trip and I think we are going to ask for a new one.

The website on the plastic holder says www.disneypins. com

Good luck,

We use our busch gardens lanyards. They are exactly the perfect size for ID,Credit cards and ticket :) I also use a hikers type clip for my car key. I even use them when NOT in a theme park back at home. I have everything I need to run out and not carry a purse.

PS keep hairbrush and few makeup essentiels in car :teeth:
