Keto and diabetic ddp

Hey party of two going in November this year woop !!!
We have DDP 1 table service, 1 quick service x day plan it was included in our package
So I’m diabetic don’t eat sugar, occasionally I’ll eat pasta potatoes ok if on holiday
My partner is keto meat veg dairy

I see on table service dessert is included, is it possible to substitute starter for desert?
And for main meals inc quick service, is it possible to substitute carb heavy sides like fries for veg

Can any one recommend best no sugar low carb snack credits?

Most restaurants will not substitute a starter for a dessert.

I would ditch the DDP in your case. You won't be able to switch an app for dessert and you won't be able to switch out anything at most QS places either. I would advise browsing menus to see which places would fit your food-style.

Disney’s QS is carb-centric with very few exceptions. As a previous poster suggested, take a look at the menus and see if the TS plan will work better for you. Have fun out there!

If you don’t want to ditch the DP (sounds like it’s a package deal), then I think you’ll do best with buffets for TS.

QS is carb heavy as others have mentioned, but there are some exceptions. Satu’li canteen comes to mind where you can build your own bowl. Or Polite Pig in DS, but that will probably be high in sugar.

Go on the app and pretend to mobile order at a few QS places and you can get an idea of where you could get more veggies. (Columbia Harbour House has green beans for example.)

At Whispering canyon, I got the land and sea skillet. I was able to substitute the plant based sausage( has wheat) for the regular sausage and get extra veggies instead of the potatoes on the skillet. I skipped the cornbread.
Also contemp cafe has a very filling greek salad with chicken. I just use a different dressing, since I think the dressing that comes with it has sugar.
At all the TS meals I have been able to swap the rice or potatoes with a low carb vegetable.

Also check out eet, at disney springs. I havent tried it yet, but they have cauliflower rice bowls.
Yesake at at disney springs offers bowls that use lettuce, instead of rice, but watch out for the sauces. Get them on the side.
