Lanyards - Where can I buy one?

We are taking my 8 year old nephew to WDW for the first time in May and I think he'd like to trade pins. Was hoping to give him a lanyard and a few starter pins before we go. I've looked at some pins on eBay but am leary. Can't find a lanyard anywhere though? Does he need a special lanyard and can anybody tell me where I can buy a nice one before we go?

You can try looking at www.disneydeals.com

They have pins for sale on there and I think they sometimes have lanyards on there too.

You could also call The MDSE Guest Services # 407-363-6200 and tell them that you will like to get a pin lanyard. I know they have a Mickey Mouse one and a Stitch one and some other ones that he might like. They are very good at helping, I would give them a call.

Character Warehouse in the Dolphin Mall in Miami has olympic pins cheap. They are shipping me some, the cm that I talked to is Michelle. I think she said they only had the pins for another day or two due to licensing agreements with the olympics. The cost came to be about 2.50 a pin (or maybe less) with tax and shipping. I don't know if they have lanyards, but if they don't maybe you could get one at wal-mart and add the olympic pins to it. Your nephew will have a great time trading!

The Sawgrass store has lanyards for a dollar. She said they had a medallion on hte bottom of Mickey(I think). The olympic pins were also $1.00. What a great deal. I made out like a bandit. I am set on pins and lanyards for a while.

Found my lanyards at "www.laughingplacestore.com." Laughingplace shows photos of all the lanyards available at WDW (obviously taken in WDW stores). There are 6 or seven solid colors and a numer of "special" lanyards sold as part of sets (Pooh, TinkerBell, Incredibles, Toy Story, etc)They provide the same prices as the stores at WDW as well.
