Should I bring lanyards to hold our cards? I know that I'm for sure bringing one for my 68yo mother, I know she'll need it or she'll lose it - but do other use them too? I don't want to look like a total dork.. :)

On a side not, as a serious scrapbooker, do we get to keep those cards?

Hi Coleland

Lanyards are a great way to keep track of your KTTW cards. And in terms of fashion statements, you'll find plenty of other cruisers with the same idea.

And, yes, you do get to keep them.

I used one of those water proof cases to hold my card. It was a lot like a lanyard. and hey if she looks like a dork, who really cares you won't see these people again.

Serious scraper huh?? Well I am married to one and yes you get to keep the cards. I beleive we (she) bought 2 of the scrapbook albums from the store on board. Rather nice deal, comes with the album, stickers, cut outs etc...

Oh and as a side tip... on the last day, all your luggage needs to be tagged with a certain character tag. It's how they tell where to group the luggage. Anyway, they have extras outside of the guest services desk. DW had me grab one of each tag for the scrapbook.

:bounce: If I bought the DIS landyard, how would I attach my KTTW card ? Shouldn't it have a plastic sleeve ?

You would have to punch a hole in the KTTW card...or you can pick one up from Walmart for only .97 which does have the plastic sleeve...DCL also seels layndard with plastic sleeves but I found them to come apart too easily and fall off my neck. The clasp was not very good and was irritating to the back of the neck. Also is about $6.00.

Here are links to a pics of the Walmart lanyard.

I've looked all over my local WalMart and not found them! We have a supercenter so you'd think they would have them somewhere.

I found them in the wallet/jewelry section of our local SuperCanter.

Are they large enough to hold a passport?

I would wait and buy one on board after you leave port (the shops don't open until you leave port). They are a nice and they are inexpensive ($6 - yes that's 3 times walmart price but it's still only $6 per person) souvineer from DCL.
