hey i was wondering if universal gives you a lanyard or id holder along with your room key.. thanks a lot

We bought ours on site (lanyards) last year. They were Mardi Gras 2005 themed and they also gave us each some beads. It was (I think about $6 each). We used them again this year....very handy and I highly recommend. We put our room key and APH in each as well as spending money worked very well and easy for them to see you get FOTL privilege. Will use them again next time we get back.

They were selling them for $4.95 in the shops at Royal Pacific Hotel.

They have two types of lanyards that you can buy at Guest Services. They have a Mardi Gras one with beads and an annual pass lanyard. Both are $3.75 for a total cost including tax of $4.

I was at Office Max looking for lanyards today. Anyway, once I got over the the section I saw this black pouch on a string that they had. It is perfect. You can see through and it closes. Then it has a zippered pocket in the back. I paid $3.50-something for it. It is very strong too! I have been looking elsewhere but would never get it because they looked too flimsy and I was afraid my stuff would get lost if it broke.

DD12 got one of those purse type lanyards and the eyelet tore out before we left the hotel room. My favorite lanyard is one I received 3 years ago when we bought the expess passes to HHN. The clip on window is more like rubber than plastic and has a zip lock mouth (water proof) and heavy duty hole that connects to the clip.

Mine sounds like the one you are describing. Mine has the strong rubber-like material and a thick black clip that slides up and down. This one is not water-proof though. I think the one my husband has for work (Navy) is waterproof though.
