Lanyard question.........

Okay, so we weren't going to do the whole pin trading thing......but I just got back from AAA and she gave DS a coupon for a free collectible pin and lanyard. If I remember correctly, isn't there a certain color lanyard you can NOT trade with? or is it just for kids??? I searched, but I'm pressed for time and didn't find any answer to my question. Does anyone recall what the color lanyard has to do with "etiquette"?? TIA

CMS with green lanyards only trade with children. If they have a black lanyard they will trade with anyone (adults/children).

If a cast member is wearing a lanyard you can trade with them. They also have the pin "badge" on their belts now also. So if it is a CM no problems trading.

There are certain colors for trading. The free one you get is blue (or at least the ones I got are blue plus a Mickey pin for boys/Minnie for girls). This used to be included in the package but you no longer get it with MYW. The person who gave us our lanyards explained to us the color trading system so I'm sure they will help you there. Sorry that I couldn't help more but we didn't trade...we just bought!!!
