Lanyard, Fanny Pack, or Both?

FANNY PACK ALL THE WAY!!!!
I'm not at WDW to make a fashion statement. I will not be looking very fashionable even if I tried with 90 degree temperature causing sweart to pour down my face and 99% humidity causing my hair to frizz.

I bring a samall back pack. It carries everything I need and usually my husbands stuff, too. If I buy somehting, I can throw it in the backpack.
Plus.... the weight is even on my back.
Our Kohl's has small ones that kids would use for school in lots of different colors.

Thanks everyone.
I found a couple of options today that I may use. I found fanny pack, as well as clear bags to keep everything dry. I also found an over the shoulder option that can double as a soft pack cooler, (if we need it.) It is good to know that they will let you wear fanny packs on rides, but not over the shoulder packs. This may help me decide what to do.
Thanks again!

They won't let you wear over the shoulder packs but you can take them on all of the rides at WDW (AFAIK). Nobody said a thing at WDW about the bags my family and I were carrying. A number of rides have pouches for bags for each person and the ones that don't the bag will be safe on the floor.

Oh, just wanted to add, I wear jean shorts too! They're not an "un" fashion statement. Tons of teenagers wear them.

I have no idea where you heard they're not fashionable.
For men they are not in style at all. I can't remember the last time I saw a boy or adult male wear them. I assume Mr. Stitch is a man, so that is why he said that. Still very in style for females though.

I vote for neither. I hate lanyards around my neck and I really do not like the look or feel of a fanny pack. They are hideous things I wish would die along with crocs ;)
(okay now that everyone wants to flame me :p)

I personally use a mini backpack. I find them a lot easier to deal with on rides and the like. Mine has Mickey and Minnie on it and can pretty much hold everything I need.

The only shorts I own are jean shorts. Fashion or no they're comfortable plus I already own them, I don't have to spend my limited funds on a bunch of unneeded clothes. Because of work though I don't get much chance to wear them anyway.

I've never understood fashion to much anyway, wear what you like, not what others say you should like.

I LOVE my crocs. They are very comfortable and the looks grow on you after a while. I own a pair of black w/ red strap Disney Crocs, which looks better, IMO, than the solid color regular ones. On my days off I only wear my Crocs anymore, I haven't worn my sneakers in a good while.

Ok, first off if (as a male) I didn't wear my jean shorts, fanny pack, flip-flops and lanyard....how would you know I was a tourist on vacation?

Seriously, my wife made me buy khaki shorts. She wears the fanny pack and we both wear lanyards for our keys to the kingdom and cash.

We bought our lanyards from FOSSIL. They are stretch rope with a leather holder for the cards, etc. There is no place fore pins.

My wife's fanny pack is nice because we put our camera, disposable ponchos and other essential items in there.

You seriously don't have to take it too personally. I am female and I don't like shorts so I usually wear skirts or capris at the parks. My DH prefers khaki since they are much more comfortable for him and they dry quicker than the heavy denim.

I was making a joke of sorts if you didn't catch the ;) AND the :p at the sentence.

But yes, supposedly denim on males are out.

I personally hate crocs because they hurt my knees to walk in. I don't get why they are so amazing, so the looks are even more of a turn off for me.

I really don't care what you wear, so don't get all uptight about it. I was making a comment about denim being out of style for men only, which apparently is true. I don't follow men's fashion THAT much because... oh wait, I'm female ;)
