So, what foreign language do you take? Do you think its easy/hard? If you had a choice would you take another language?

I take French in school, its fairly easy, but I'd like to take another harder to understand language that way you can talk to someone and the general public won't know what your talking about (with french there are too many words that are practically the same, so you can totally figure out whats being said)

I've taken spanish before. I can read it fairly well, but don't ask me to speak it. I cant roll an "r" to save my life. ;)
I picked up a little french when my mom was learning it.

there are so many I want to learn, though.
I didn't like spanish much at all. I love french though.

Romance languages like french and spanish do have alot of words that look the same. And when they are written next to each other it is hard to tell them apart.

I take spanish, and it's getting really boring. Conjegating verbs just isn't fun. :crazy2:

I take french.

Being born in Quebec I started learning french at a very young age (my family isn't french, stricly english, though being from Quebec they have basic knowledge of the french language ;p)

But After i moved to Ontario I went to a french school grade 6-8. Now in high school I'm just in normal core french (back to basics) and I'm like the best at it lolz ;p (96% thank you very much =]) I'm one of the few who continued to take it after the required Grade 9 course.

I am really passionate about French though.
I went to Paris last year and it was AMAZING and made me love french even more. I'm hoping to be FULLY bilingual someday (I'm almost there!)

I took French (3 1/2 years). I found it easy, probably because I'm one of those people who can pick up languages pretty fast. Anyway, I dropped my French class this year (I just didn't feel like taking it anymore). I know enough to get by which is fine with me..

Also-i REALLY want to learn spanish (I have to option to take it in school, but I think 2 forgein language courses will be a little too much for me ;p)

But its just such a romantic language. One of my friends (and former crush lol) speaks spanish and everytime I hear him say something in spanish i go weak in the knees. ;p

lol spanish doesn't seem very romantic to me. :confused3 I live in the nusery capital of the world (whoo hoo for us) and we have alot of hispanics come to my town for work. I hear spanish everyday.

But don't get me started on an irish acent.

AllyGirlie--just noticed your siggy!!
happy early BDAY! =]

I (sadly) am not learning any foreign language, but in high school I'm going to take French, and Dad and I are going to attempt to learn Italian together. As soon as we do, our family is going to go to Italy (not the Italian Pavillion, which is as far as we've ever gotten.)

Spanish...I got an award for it last year...that made me feel good...Midterm next wednesday tho...ughhh

Any uk accent. I don't care what you say. its how you say it. lol :teeth:

I like more-foreign sounding accents....like maybe Ukranian or Russian...but UK works for me too :earsboy:

im taking french and i LOVE it. its so much fun and its so easy. im very good with languages. mademoiselle coller is the greatest teacher ever. we listen to french pop music in class, watch cirque du soleil shows, and even watch disney movies in french.

im self teaching myself japanese with my brother. its really easy for me too. and i think asian accents are just adorable. japan has no L's, so when they say something in english with an L it sounds like an R. so..lollipop would be rorripop. and thats darn adorable.

i want to learn mandarin chinese very badly as well!

I take Latin and its fun, but it's not easy. It's a wonder how the Romans could actually speak it.

I took Spanish in grade school so I know a little bit, but not enough to carry on a full fledged conversation! :rotfl:

I also really want to learn French. I know a little bit and I love the way it sounds. :)

i take spanish. but i think French is a more romantic language and i dont understand any of it. My friend is from France(well lived there and her mom lives there now) and when eer she talks in french i have no idea what she is saying. but i think its hot when a guy talks in french, but i also think its hot when my spanish teacher talks completely in spanish too, but thats only cuz hes gorgeous!!!

Hablo Espanol, y es muy facil.

But I'd love to learn French someday.
