Lands End 10% off if you buy when returning

We were in Sears in Lands End today basically to exchange a pair of sneakers (for a different color). They have a deal going where if you return something and buy something else you get 10% off the new thing. I didn't expect it to work for us since it was just a simple exchange but the computer did it and credited our cc! So we got an extra 10% off of the shoes (they were already 40% off!) Pretty cool if you ask me and of course a deal worth passing on just in case anyone has a return for them. The cashier said the deal was good for the whole month.
