Landry's Select + Dining Plan

Has anyone tried to use the Landry's Select welcome reward while on the dining plan to order appetizers or alcoholic drinks at Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex? I was thinking about joining before my trip but don't want the reward to go to waste since we'll be using TS credits to pay for our meal.

Yes, you can use your rewards for appetizers. Rules on alcohol vary by where your card is registered. Chart by state is here https://www.landrysselect.com/pdf/LBWRules.pdf

Just remember, you have to use the entire $25 reward on one check.

Just to be clear, the chart simply means that you can or cannot earn points for alcohol purchases at Landry's. It doesn't mean that you cannot order alcohol there.
