I know it's a long way off but .... this will be our second land/sea with my mom. We did stay at the Poly last time and stayed in the Figi longhouse. Has anyone done a land/sea with the Poynesian and stay in any other longhouse? I had read somewhere that they try to keep all the land/sea people together in one building, is that true? I know I was hoping for Samoa or the building next to the GCH (can't remember the name now) last time for convenience for my mother (76), and they had nothing available other than Figi and another building almost to the TTC. Which with congestive heart failure would be a very long and troublesome walk for her.
I'm just wondering if it was even possible to get another building. Supposedly our TA did note her problem but they didn't seem to have anything on it when we checked in.
Thanks!

Have your TA contact Special Services and request a room in Rapa Nui based on your mom's medical condition.

I did land/sea a couple of years ago and stayed in Aeorterea ( I call it aortic tear, because I can't say it or spell it). We had a nice 2nd floor room with a garden/ monorail view.

I'm sure the poly will be able to accomadate your mom's needs.

Hello,

We did the L/S in May of '02, and stayed at Tokelau. We had requested a balcony room, and this might have had something to do with it.

Take care,

Bill

We have done two land and seas with the Poly as our resort hotel. In both instances, we stayed in Tokelau. We are now pretty partial to that longhouse, as it is very central. However, I hear they are all great.
