Maybe someone can help me out with this question. Ok, March 2004 we did the Land and Sea Cruise Package, 3days land and 4 days sea. The first day we arrived at the Resort, or should i say night, it was too late to head out to the parks, not to mention the Airport had lost half our luggage so i had spent alot of phone time trying to get our luggage, the kids were tired from the flight and ready for bed, so we did not use one day of our land ticket. So my question is should that unused day still be on the card or not? I tried calling Disney and they were no help, the phone guy told me that the only way to check is to scan the bar code on the back of the card. Has anyone had a Key to the World Card and can help me out with this? Thanks![/B]

It is my understanding that the tickets associated with the Land/Sea package are Ultimate Park Hopper Passes. Therefore, they expired at midnight on the day you left for the cruise. You should not have any days left.

As far as I understand it, that is correct. They are/were UPH passes and expire at the end of your stay. This is one of the reasons why it is often advocated to book trips separately rather than under packages (including land/sea) though the convenience and more "worry free" features of the packages can be quite enticing. Sorry to be one of the bearers of bad news.

WHen you book a land/sea package you are given the Ultimate Park Hopper tickets (though that's probably changing starting Monday). Those tickets expire at midnight the day you check-out of your hotel. Unforunately, you lost that day...... Sorry.

I feel like it was a total waste of money buying the package. They should not count your arrival day as a day for parks. It was terrible when we arrived at the resort, it took about 2hrs just to check in, then another hour for the bell man to come take us to the room, then once we arrived at the rooms they were not connecting rooms nor were they right next to each other. So we go back to the check in counter and wait another hour to get another 2 rooms that were connecting. Buy the time we got to our room, it was about 7pm and my kids were tired and hungry after all that back and forth stuff, and so were we. I booked our flight to arrive early too at 12noon, thinking that we would get settled and least get a half day at the parks. When we were at the Airport we waited about 2hrs for Disney buses to pick us up, it was just terrible that first day. We will never prolly be able to do another cruise again with Disney, it would be almost $10,000 for our family of 6, therefore we would need to hit the lotto before we go again.

We are to go back March 2005, and i was thinking we could use the day we had left on these cards to save a little money, but oh well!
