Hi everyone,

We're going in August for five days at the parks and then the four day Disney Dream cruise. We're absolutely going to buy insurance. The last time we did this, we bought through our travel agent and had to buy separate for the parks and the cruise. If we went through a different company, do I have to buy separate again? Just curious! I'm fine going with the Disney insurance but wasn't sure if anyone had any other advice.

It's generally a better idea to get third party insurance. You often get better coverage for less cost.

There a several travel insurance comparison sites that you can use. You put in the parameters of what you want covered, and they will show you many different company's policies.

Just do a search (travel insurance comparison sites) and the one that most of us seem to use (not supposed to be linked here) usually comes up near the top. I've also used https://www.squaremouth.com/ and https://tripinsurancestore.com/get-a-quote.php to get quotes.
