We're home. DS6's MRI went find and he decided to go for it WITHOUT sedation. They showed him the machine and the list of movies he could watch while he was in the machine and he decided he could do it awake and stay still. He did. He looked so small strapped to that table and the machine was so noisy, but he stayed still and did exactly what the tech asked him to do. He amazes me all the time, but I gotta tell you, this was a biggie. Never in a million years would I have thought he could handle it without drugs.

I wish they could have sedated me.

I mean, they already had the drugs prepped and everything.

Threep & fltwinmom -I hope you're not where all the power outages are. If you are I hope you're not going thru Dis withdrawl or you have a laptop with a full battery.

Hooray! I was thinking about you and your little guy. I am so glad that it went well. Those MRI's are like a jackhammer. I hate them, I am so glad that he did so well and was so brave.

No, but he was certainly in a hurry to leave.

With the kids wrestling in the floor, the dogs barking, it was a crazy place that I'm thinking he'd rather not be.

That reminds me of that car insurance commercial. He comes to her house because she has four boys. I always laugh at that one. Parmesean Cheese at our house is called vomit cheese. I hate that stuff!

Well I am actually making the kids and me a real meal for dinner.
Making Parmesan Pasta, it's actually a nice and easy one pot LOSER type dinner (it does have a veggie in it though).
Of course #2DS just tells me that he no wan dat. There's no winnning with that kid.

I am so glad it went well for him. I have had them done and I wish they would drug me. He is a brave boy

DH and I went back to the DRS today so they could do some blood work and check on how I am doing with the touch of the flu.
Then they decided to check what John like to call my TittyJack and see that it is still in place. John told the DR that if one more person felt me up today he was going to become my pimpdaddy and charge them.

Get this...for lunch I had a Garden Burger, Sun Chips......and a Drumstick Ice Cream cone!!

Then I had another GB for dinner..not any particular reason other than to get rid of them.. I have decided to try and stay away from fried foods for health reasons..heart disease in my family history. anyway, the GB's looked good, they are not..rest of family had Mickey D's drive thru...

DS8 just finished his last BB game. Now the three of them are off to a cub scout meeting to weigh and finish their cars for the PineWood derby this Saturday. DH tried to weasel out of taking them, but I reminded him of what happened to their cars last year when I took them to the weigh in. The "hack" guy weighing them helped us remove some extra weight by digging a big hole in the bottom of DS9's car. It looked like heck, but it came up to specs. for some reason, I got in trouble for that. Now he is waiting for me, yells upstairs "are you coming? " 'NO, I don't need to!"
