Debating about doing a land and sea trip next July. Just wondering for the people that have done this in the past what is the best way for this trip. I was thinking cruise first and the wdw. It will only be a 3-4 day cruise and then 3-4 days at WDW. Do you think that is enough time?

We did this last year. 4 days Disney & 4 day cruise on the Dream. It was great! I would highly suggest doing the park 1st & cruise 2nd! Especially in July. You will be wiped after 4 park days & will need a relaxing REAL va-ca aboard the ship!:earboy2:

We just got back yesterday from a land & sea. We did 2 nights at Disney, 4 nights on the Dream, and then 2 more nights at Disney. It was great but a lot of moving around - although the moves were really seamless.

We have said that we probably won't do a parks/cruise trip again and will just alternate every other year with Disney Parks/Disney Cruise. Land and sea wasn't bad and we really enjoyed ourselves, but we would prefer to be in one place for the duration of our vacation instead of moving all the time.

i think it all depends on how hardcore you are about the parks. We just did land and sea (2 nights Universal, 3 night Dream and 5 nights at WDW) and we had one of the best vacations to date. Before that I would have said to do the cruise last to relax but we spent alot of downtime at the pool and arent the type of people who open and close parks. When we get there we get there.

From past experience and doing this four times -- do the parks first! It is very hectic after and just ruins the relaxed cruise mode you come off the ship with ;)
