Yha know what I heard that sence his going into space has be publisized so much that the nagosianc (sp?) are still going on but they say that the article was wrote because it was a ploy by the Russians or something. But it says that Lance is going into space if thats true or not i don't know

I feel so bad for him. Its not his fault that his Sponsers didnt come through and 20 Million dollars is A LOT of money, you dont just find that kind of cash sitting around. I personally am thinking about starting a collection to let Lance go into space! WHO'S WITH ME?!?!?!

That guy makes millions of dollars..in one summer of working i made about 650..there is no was in (insert very hot place) that im going to give him my money...to us 20 millions alot..but no offense to some celebrities like making one movie gives them that much money. So, I like that him not having the money is a load of poo..is he forking over some of his own money for this? or is he expecting sponsors to pay it..there is the problem...no offens to lance fans, but i think its ridiculous to let him go..he's not an astronaut, he's a singer/actor..if he wanted to go in space that bad..why didnt he persue a career in aeronautics? hmmm??? lol

Actually, Lance passed the NASA entrance exam before NSYNC got started, so its not like he just woke up one morning and said "Hey, I think I'll go to space today" This is something that hes wanted to do his whole life and he was qualified execpt for those crappy sponsers he got that didnt come through.

Did it ever occur to you that there is no way on earth Lance could just throw away 20 MILLION dollars, mabe into an investmant that would make him a lot of money, but not into a space trip. He's human, he still has to pay bills and stuff like that.

He had investors supporting him, who did not pay up in time, therefore screwing up his one shot at a lifelong dream.

After all the time he spent training, the time, and money (yes he did have to pay before hand, but not the 20 million) wasted.

Even if the russians changed their minds, he wouldn't be able to complete his training in time for the flight.

He didn't go to CFTC, he didn't get to see his friends, family for months, because he was so devoted to follow his dreams.

All shattered.

I feel bad for him.
