We are headed to Disney in October and DH loves eating lamb. SO I'm looking for recommendations of restaurants that serve good lamb.

DH had the lamb at Turf Club (at SSR) and enjoyed it. There is a lamb shank on the menu at Marrakesh; we did not have it but someone at a table adjacent to us did last trip and it was HUGE.

I had the lamb at Marrakesh and personally, I thought it was the best meal I had at Disney!

Feb of 2010 I had the best lamb risotto at the California Grill. Could have eaten a vat of it.

Jiko usually has a lamb dish. Though the cut and preparation changes frequently, the chefs there generally make a mean lamb.

ETA: I also loved my tandoori lamb at Sanaa.

If you go to the top of the page there are two lines of quick links. Click on <Dining> and it will take you to a page with a search feature near the top. Type in lamb and click <ENTER> and it will show you every Disney Restaurant that serves lamb, the meal, the menu item description, and the price.

My daughter and I love lamb. In June we were on the Lamb Tour of WDW

Our favorites.... tie between Jiko and Turf Club

My DH also loved the lamb chops at the Turf Club. We're going back for more in Oct.

the lamb chops at CRT were outstanding... i would go three times a trip if an ADR were easier to get!

I'm also a lamb lover and usually order it, if it's on the menu. My favorites have been at Jikos, Turf Club, and believe it or not Yachtsman. I prefer the lamb at Yachtsman over their steaks, and I'm also a steak lover.:rotfl:

Kouzzina -- currently they have a lamb shank, good and huge. They are testing a lamb chop dish, they brought it to my 8yo daughter (multiple food allergies, she asked the chef for lamb chops and he said of course!) It was AMAZING, should be on the menu in a month or so.

Sanaa -- lamb is AMAZING! Better than Jiko in my opinion, but I do love Jiko.

Turf club -- great lamb chops (again, 8yo daughter ... she shared this time).

My mind is completely blank as to where else we got lamb in July and March (again, mostly my 8yo and sometimes me.).

For the record, 8yo DD is allergic to Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Dairy, Eggs, Shellfish, Sesame, and has celiac disease. She asks the chef each time if they have lamb chops and asparagus and swiss chard (her favorite foods) and they are so tickled that an 8yo would want those for dinner (and lunch) they just say of course and make her a child's portion (which always looks like an adult portion to me -- 4 chops for a child?). DP winner here!

I think the above responses captured it, but I wanted ot add that the lamb shank at Kouzinna is quite good.

This is incredible. I just google'd "best lamb, disneyworld", and this post came up. I mean..I'm already a member here but I thought I'd never find something like this lol. It's an old thread, so I'll wake it up and ask it again.

I'm gonna be in WDW with my girlfriend in July for her birthday in July but I figured I'd reward myself in some way or another lol, so either steak, lamb, or both! I was already looking at Yachtsman since we'll be staying at either BWI or BC, but now looking for amazing lamb dishes might be my goal.

I'm of Armenian descent. So lamb is a staple in my family. Especially tender, and VERY garlic'y lamb! So since spice is my thing...I was looking at the lamb at Marrakesh, and Kouzzina. I was thinking i'll just settle for Tangerine for CS lamb. lol.

Steak is also something I was looking at. I thought a resort restaurant would be calmer and more relaxing than something like sayyyy Le Cellier.

Whatcha say, Disney-heads? :woohoo::laughing:

The lamb at Bistro de Paris was absolutely incredible. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and carved tableside. It was served with a delicious jus, eggplant "caviar" in puff pastry, and some fancy ratatouille. OMG! I dream about it :cloud9:
