Lake view VGF room location???

Going in September 2024 DH Birthday.
Just booked Home Resort VGF Studio Lake view and I'm trying to figure out which room location would work better . Big Pine Key Building or Villa side?? I did request upper floor. I really do not want to see construction at Poly. Any advise would be appreciated. TIA

At the VGF the studios in the 2 buildings are different booking categories. If you booked a resort studio you will be in Big Pine Key. If you booked a deluxe studio you will be in the original villas building.
AFAIK you can see the new Poly tower from most, if not all, of the lake view villas in both buildings, although maybe they’ll be done w/ construction by Sept. 2024?

Changed room to a 1 bedroom standard requested pool view. shorten my days for now .

I stayed in a lake view villa at VGF in 2021, actually 2 nights in a studio, then 2 nights in a lake view one Bedroom and LOVED both my rooms. The studio was 3rd floor and the 1 bedroom was fifth floor. I can't remember which was the studio, which was the 1 bedroom, but the rooms ended in -08 and -10 (was it 1308 and 1510, or 1310 and 1508?). The weather was so hot, I spent one of the days mostly in my air-conditioned villa, watching the boats.

We had a 2 bedroom lake view a few years ago. The sun in the morning is brutal on the balcony. The shades in the bedroom do an amazing job of blocking it. I usually eat my breakfast out there, I had to wear sunglasses, which did almost nothing, and had to sit behind a pole to block the sun. After the sun rose high enough it was wonderful.
