Lake Eola 'Fireworks at the Fountain'

:( I was going to, but I stayed with my dog instead because he got sick.. It looked like fun on TV, though. :(

aww, sorry. man it was so amazing, it must rock to like on those lakefront waverly apartments, you can look right out the window and see them on tv at the same time.

I am feeling lame. Including the theme parks, there were probably, what, TEN fireworks displays in the area? And I missed them all. Oh well; my boy needed me. :D

Well there's always next year, the important thing is you're a good mommy hehe. What kind of dog do you have?

My sick one is a fat lab-pit mix. I also have a boxer who didn't seem to mind the fireworks much.

I live on Central (one block in from Lake Eola)...was able to watch them from my bedroom. It was my poor puppies first fireworks...the poor thing was out of his mind. I agree with DocRafiki though, it's sad that I've elevated the act of staying indoors to an art form :) The 200,000 people in attendance didn't make much of an impact on Central Blvd though...I thought it would be much worse than it was. Nice fireworks though.

We saw the fireworks around Lake Eola way back in 1993. They were super back then so I can just imagine what they are like now.

Can only imagine how much they spent on this show though, 30 minutes long.
I heard it was wasily $50 grand from some one, but I guess this is what the lay off's were for ;) (joking).
