:scared1:We are in the process of renting a suite here through an owner, looks really nice, 2 bedrooms, kitchen area, wrap around deck (penthouse floor) pool area with Pirate Ship would be great for our kids, but I'm wondering has anyone ever stayed here and how far away is it (driving) to the parks, it says its next to the outlet mall, are there restaurants nearby or are we out in the middle of nowhere. Anybody who can answer any of these questions please do its not too late for us too stay somewhere else. Just having a bit of nerves as we've only ever stayed at hotels and the idea of renting from a stranger makes me nervous.

Thanks in advance

We rented in 2007, and were quite pleased. We had a 3 bedroom condo with balcony. We rented directly, though. There are many restaurants nearby, many deliver as well. The drive to Disney is not that far, but the amount of time really depends on traffic. When we stayed the pub wasnt open and the pirate pool was unfinished. We walked to the outlets daily. I would definately stay again.

Do you mind me asking what you paid, we are being quoted 1250 plus taxes for 9 days in the 2 bedroom condo with balcony which doesn't seem that bad (around 156 a night). did you ever use the shuttle? we will be renting a car but with the distance I wondered if maybe the shuttle would be utilized or if its too crowded/has too many stops/not a frequent enough schedule.

must admit the outlet being next door is a huge plus for me DH hates shopping and doesn't want to do any on holidays but with it right next door would be a lot easier for me to convince him plus I could steal away for an hour while he played at the pool with the kids then everyones happy:laughing: haven't quite mentioned the shopping is right next door thought i'd save that little gem for when we arrived:rotfl2:
thanks for your input

Thanks

I honestly do not remember exactly (I want to say somewhere in the $200 range a night). We never used the shuttle, only because at the time my children were young and I didnt want to be at the mercy of the shuttle schedule. And also I think it left out much later than I wanted to get there. But many of the families staying there when we were there used it daily and were very happy with it.
