Princess Belle,
We liked it although it was not the lap of luxury. There were 4 adults and 1 child. Two of the adults are sisters (my 2 closest friends) and the other the partner of one of the sisters and father of the child. We 3 girls have done a lot of long weekend trips in New England and all 3 of us are well traveled. On the one hand we like nice things, on the other hand, we are not terribly picky. We have camped, stayed in cabins and stayed at the Four Seasons in Boston as well as a multitude of hotels in New England. We were happy with the place. The Dad was less so and he is also not as well traveled. He compared this place to high roller suites at Foxwoods Casino and was less impressed. He knit picked about alot of things that never really bothered the rest of us - we tend to roll with the punches. You can read the review I wrote again to pick up on the "little things". The place was clean enough, we checked for bed bugs immediately and found none. The couch was a bit worn but other than that and a few minor broken items, we were not bothered at all.
We spent a lot of time looking for the "right place" and our parameters were to be near the parks, clean, have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and have a restaurant on site. This fit the bill. To be honest we were hardly ever there. We left the condo in the morning and did not return til 8 or 9 at night. We ate in Frankie Farrell's restaurant 3 times (liked it a lot) and did pizza take out from Pizza hut one night. Got enough food to feed 4 adults 1 kid for $40 with leftovers. Other nights we were in the parks late. It was a place to sleep, shower, eat a simple breakfast, make lunches to bring to the parks and come back at night late, have a cocktail, talk about the day and go to sleep.
We were happy with it. We also considered Floridays and Blue Heron and Lake Eve as other possibilities. I have since done other research for a trip in 2013 or 2014 and Wyndham Bonnet Creek would be a serious contender.
Hope that helps.
BTW -sorry don't know anything about the slide.
