Lake Buena Vista Resort - Downtown Disney

We are planning a trip on a budget and were able to get a reasonable rate at this Best Western hotel. I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer... Is this hotel within walking distance to Downtown Disney? Are there plenty of parking spaces at the hotel? Is the hotel reasonably clean?

We stayed there in 2006 and will be staying there again this year for one night before checking in at Pop Century the next day. When you turn left on the road where the downtown disney resorts are, this will be the first one on the right. It will be the furthest resort from Downtown Disney and is a pretty good walk.... we walked it a few times, but they do offer transportation to and from Downtown Disney.

This hotel has the BEST BEDS EVER! they are so comfy! We are going to Disney in a couple of weeks and my daughter asked when we check out of Disney, can we stay there just one night to sleep on their beds! LOL! they are that great!

And yes, you can walk, even though there are buses. We walked back to our hotel 2 different nights, just because we didn't want to wait on a bus!

There is a lot of parking (valet parking, also)

The hotel is pretty clean, it's older, but it's nice. I will stay there again!

I can't comment on the Best Western because I never stayed there, but we did stay at the Royal Plaza which is quite a bit closer to DTD. We got a very reasonable rate ($69/nt) there over Thanksgiving weekend in 2010. It was very nice and it took us about 10 mins to walk to DTD.

We stayed at the Best Western last year and we LOVED it! We are going back this year and staying at the Best Western again.

The room was massive and we have a lovely great big balcony with a view of all of the parks.

It is in walking distance of DTD and also Crossroads the other way which is good as there is a Goodings there and loads of eating establishments.

There is plenty of parking and when we went in Sept it was pretty empty.
