Ladies--Would you wear this wedding dress???

While looking for something new to wear to the DIScar Gala (thanks to certain DIS-ers who took my old clothes right out of my hands!), I ran across this ---wedding dress.
What do you think of it? Would you wear it to your wedding???

It's beautiful!

It's a little or a lot revealing depending on um assets, but it's really a beautiful gown.

Wait a minute ... isn't that a knock-off on what Halle Berry wore at the Academy Awards last year???

I didn't like it on her and I don't like it in the picture.

When it comes to "would you wear it" ... it has to be something I feel comfortable in, where I can feel free to be myself. If I'm wearing something that makes me feel self-conscious, it would ruin my time!! ... No "I" wouldn't wear it.

(Halle looked comfortable though.)

I guess I like the dress itself (if I had the body), but, as a wedding dress????

I guess I just wondered about the appropriateness of the design for the occasion.

Personally, my minister would throw me a tablecloth to wrap around it

I wouldn't wear it for my wedding, but if I had a better body, I would wear something like it (different color).

I would not feel comfortable on the cruise in this outfit, I think it is beautiful but too revealing for this event.

My pastor wouldn't have been able to look me in the eye if I wore that dress.

Personally, I wouldn't ever wear it, but I do think that it's a pretty dress. It's just more revealing than my other dresses. In fact, I think it's more revealing than my swimsuit.

I wouldn't wear it as a wedding dress but I'd wear it on my honeymoon, behind closed doors (if I lost about 100 lbs!!)

It is a beautiful dress. Do I think it would be appropriate to wear in a church...no.

It is gorgeous and if I had that body....

But for a wedding dress in a church - no. Maybe if the wedding was at a large hotel, or somewhere else with a civil officiant. But not with clergy present.

And I couldn't help letting my design training creep in with a nagging thought...the lace at the bodice is perfectly placed as she lounges off one hip to the left. What happens if she goes the other way?

A little strategically placed double stick tape might be necessary!
