I would absolutely wear a brown dress! Brown is one of the colors that looks best on me with my complexion/hair color/eye color, so I would absolutely wear it if I found something I liked. I am wearing dressy pants and a polo shirt tomorrow, because I have a hard time finding dresses that fit. I have also worn black skirt/top combos, white pants/pastel top combos, as well as "traditional" dresses- it depends on what I can find that fits.

I voted for #3

I would have to see the dress before I can give a true answer.

Like Queen Latifa said on Fresh Prince of Belair, "If its clean and it fits I will wear anything." That's my motto. :thumbsup2

Personally I wouldn't because I want something brighter but I wouldn't think anything wrong with someone else wearing brown.

And let me tell you, it was hard finding a dress this year that wasn't black or brown.

Spring colors/pastels look best on me. If I were shopping for a dress for easter, brown wouldn't be a color I'd be drawn to.

If I can wear black dress pants and a black top for Easter you can wear brown. If you look nice in it who cares. Already been to church btw as I interpreted the Saturday evening service.

:thumbsup2 I don't know of any other ASL for awesome. :goodvibes

I am wearing a brown tweed suit. Of course it will be about 9degrees celsius here.Pastels wait for summer.

I am curious, is this a up north tradition?

You know, our church has a loose dress code (w/ modesty in mind of course) and why was I worrying? Of course the Lord would't mind! Silly me.

Thanks all for your advice and encouragement. Today was a glorious day! (i'd type in white or yellow, but you wouldn't be able to view it). O.k., get your decoder rings out here's an invisible message. --->He is risen!

My Mom always told us pastels, white shades after Memorial Day, then back into the winter whites & darker shades for clothing & accessories after Labor Day. As young girls we did wear light colors on Easter, but put the dresses, hats, gloves, purses & shoes up until Memorial Day.

Mom was from California~
