Ladies, would you think about doing this?

Well, I was tossing the idea around.

Anyways, I'm rambling. It's a thought I had and decided to throw it out there to see if anyone would actually seriously do that. :confused3

Ill do it - but again, Ill be there. I met people from my AOL Disney boards years ago...

Make it the end of Sept - 23 ---> 30th!!! :thumbsup2

Or make it anytime after that too - cuz Im getting an annual pass! :cool1:

My DH travels a lot for work, so he really encourages me to get away when I can, too. I won a trip for 2 to California last year, so my mom and I went to Disneyland (I let DH choose between himself or DM). We had a blast, but she had a hard time keeping up with me! :teeth:

I don't feel the least bit guilty about going on short trips without DH and the kids. I do it every year. Sometimes its a weekend, some times a bit longer. Ladies--to paraphrase L'Oreal--we're worth it!!!

Since I'm already going in October, I probably would be more apt to go if it were this summer or the beginning of next year.

I've gone a few times without my kids. One time several years ago I met my sister and I've thought about doing that again soon (I haven't told her yet :teeth: ).

Another time, about a year and a half ago, my DH and I went. That was fun, but I almost regret going because it satisfied his WDW urge (not that he even had an urge) and he's good for another few years and doesn't want to return as a family even though this summer it will have been 5 years). That is why I go without him.

Then this last January I brought my 18yo DD. That was fun! She is my child, however, albeit a grown one.

I would consider a solo trip, meeting others (and maybe talking my sister into going) as long as I was back by 9/22.

Do it!!! Going on trips with different people gives you a new perspective on WDW and it's a lot of fun.

I know--make it early December! That way, other will be there for Mousefest--that would be good. And I know I could convince my DH to let me out of the house for my Dec 4th birthday!!! :teeth:

Yep, as long as I have steady income headed my way by then. Sounds like it could be loads of fun and a great way to meet people too.

Where do I sign up????

Seriously. I need a getaway in a bad way. Finances are the problem, but I just may be able to work around that. I sent in my Wendys cups for my one-way fare on Air Tran. I should have those points by then.

How's the lodging going to work? On or off property? Together or at different locations?

Ooops...thinking ahead. That's my nature....:)

Please include me in plans or discussions. PM me, since I tend to miss a lot of threads.

Im glad you bumped it....

So -what's the plan? I'd do early December too.... Oh heck, Id do it anytime.
