Just realized I better look at my wardrobe for the trip since we are almost 2 months out. I have always worn shorts to the parks, but that was before I owned capris. Honestly, I have more capris than shorts now.

What do you wear??

I wear both, depending on the weather. Some of my lighter capris are not as hot as blue jean shorts can be. Personally speaking, I do not like to wear capris with tennis shoes, and tennis shoes in the parks are a must. But, then, of course, it's WDW and not a fashion show. If the weather is comfortable, but might get chilly at night, capris might do you more good. I would just pack a couple of each kind in colors that you can mix and match with everything you are wearing. Good luck packing & planning!

shorts are always great but if the temps take a big dip when the sun goes down Capris might be a better option.

me - kicking and screaming when my sisters tell me we have to go home

I always wear shorts or skirts in warm weather...but that's mostly because Capri's make me look strange :confused3
As some of the other posters mentioned, if it could get chilly you might be happier in capri's.
Overall though, I'd say wear which ever you're the most comfy in and think you look the best in....you're probably going to be in alot of photos!

I wear skirts or capris; I find them to be more flexible in terms of activities and weather.

And I heartily second what aurorasleeping says...go with what makes you comfortable environmentally and psychologically.

pends on the weather for me, I love both....If we will be staying until after dark, and it is not too hot during the day, I'd go with capris.

I am a lilly white Michigander and wear Capris to prevent any chance of sun burn - which I have had experience of it ruining the trip.

I say take both. I have more short then capris also. We are going in March so I will pack shorts and a pair of capris in case its a bit too chilly :cold: for short at night.

I wear shorts if I will go on any rides where you can get wet, like Splash Mountain. Shorts dry faster.

I prefer capris for sun protection or if the weather is cooler.

I wear sneakers and a fanny pack with both, and the fashionistas can look away. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Capris to me means a mid-calf length pant. What I take is a knee length short preferrable with cargo pockets in a quick drying fabric. That way I can sit down anywhere without fear of surprise hot or cold surfaces.

I wear light-weight capris that have cargo pockets. I love those pants for Disney. They've become my uniform. I just adjust what kind of shirt I wear with them according to the weather!

Take what you feel comfortable in, but remember that it can get very chilly in March. The last two years during March we were so very cold-days and nights. The wind is very chilly still. I am a native Floridian, and it seems to always be the last chill before our very hot and humid days of spring and summer. The first day of our trip last March we were laughed at by some families because we had our jackets with us, and warm clothing changes for the baby. We saw the same people that evening shivering and complaining that they "thought this was Florida." I just smiled at them, as we were warm and cozy.

Thanks everyone:)

I'll probably will be sporting my fanny pack, as well, along with my lime green baggalini.

I agree with the light weight capris, in either a nylon or cotton, they dry fast, and are cool on hot days, and both warm at the same time. I alternate b/t nike nylon capris and soffee shorts. hope this helps! P.s. the soffee shorts don't dry very fast, and the nike pants dry supper fast!

I just bought a pair of "convertible" cargo pants at the mall. They are a lightweight fabric and have ties that go through grommets if you want to turn them into cropped pants. They're coming with me in February!
