My morning sickness for each of my two children was completely different.
With DS I vomited at least once a day (if not 2-3 times) from 6 weeks pregnant until the day he was born (I vomited during labor as well).
With DD I started out the same way and was really depressed because whereas with DS I could stay in bed all day and rest if I wanted to, but with having a 2 year old I couldn't do that the second time. So I was prepared for the worst. But after 3 months it started slowly subsiding and by 4 months pregnant it was totally gone and I never vomited or had nausea again after that.
I don't have a clue why with one pregnancy you're sick/nauseous all the time and with another you have very little trouble. It's weird, I know.
They probably have better medications for morning sickness now, so hopefully you can find something that will help you.
