Ladies!!! Packing help!

We're doing a WDW trip Feb 25-Mar 5. I usually just wear athletic shorts and a t shirt because that's what I'm most comfortable in, but now that I'm at that magical age of 21 I should probably stop looking like a bum. I've heard a lot of people wear dresses because they're airy but I'm not sure if it will be too cold at the end of Feb/early Mar. Do any ladies have any tips on what to wear in the parks?

Heck, wear what's comfortable and what suits YOU! Rock those tees and shorts if you want to. When I go to Florida, I dress for comfort and sweat.

Yep, wear what you want. I go in the hot months so I wear sundresses and sometimes capris or shorts and T-shirts.

Definitely wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! For me, it's always midi shorts (colored or denim) with a tee or flowy tank...maybe capris if it's cooler. I wore a sundress on our last visit, and it just didn't work for me. It was breezy, so I kept feeling the need to hold it down. Then once I started sweating, it was sticking to my legs. Not comfortable. My SIL wears nothing but dresses when we go. So it definitely depends on you! Personally, I rely more on shoes to look "cute" at Disney...my Vans collection, specifically. Plain tee and shorts? Throw on some hidden Yoda sneaks and you totally have it together! lol

PS: I am 48 and wish I could wear athletic shorts and a t shirt. But I am afraid to scare Mickey.

We went to Universal for several days in early March and I wore a sundress every day. I did need a sweatshirt for a couple of the evenings.

We usually go during Spring Break which is usually the 2nd or 3rd week in March. I say wear what feels best! I've worn shorts and tanks and gotten sunburns but also worn capris, leggings, joggers, baseball tees, and a hoodie. Once our water park day was so cold I stayed in my hoodie and covered up with a towel on a lounger and napped. The water was warmer than the outdoor temp!

Wear what you feel comfortable in. I plan outfits based on what park I am going to and where I will be eating. If that does not work I Disneybound.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm 50, and Mickey might go screaming into the night of I wore athletic shorts to Disney. So I will stick with my capri's and pants. I might throw in a dress or two for dinner.

OP, wear what you want. Yes, sun dresses are nice. If you decide to wear one, throw on a pair of shorts too. Otherwise you might show more than you want. Getting out of some of those ride cars can be quite the feat.

You are 21 - as long as those shorts as longer than an Olympic volleyball player - you should be fine! Have fun!

Lightweight maxi dresses (with little skimmer shorts underneath) or t-shirts with Athleta pants. Athleta makes great pants that are moisture wicking.

Whatever you are comfortable in! I'm one of those ladies that puts her outfits together very meticulously in day to day life but Disney is all about comfort.

I wear shorts, a t shirt or tank, and Teva Mush flip flops. I don't look like a bum, but I'm not in a dress either.

And the golden age of 21 is a distant memory.

I'm 30. Be comfortable. Look like you're on vacation. For me, that's an even mix of poodle skirts and shorts. I'm dressing up for tea, but even that's comfy.

I agree with everyone else, wear what you are comfortable in. I would pack a couple nicer things in case you decide to do a night out at Jellyrolls or another club/bar type place. But for walking around the parks all day, athletic shorts and tees are just fine.

It looks like the average temperature range in Orlando is 50-72F in February and 54-78F in March, so your comfort in a tee and shorts would probably depend on your personal proclivities as far as temperature goes as well as your timing at the parks-- I'd probably feel a little chilled in the low 50s in the morning/evening but pretty comfy in the evening.

If you want maximum flexibility (and are willing to lug a *little* bit of extra clothes around), I'd pack a pair of medium-weight leggings to wear under your shorts-- think the cotton kind, not thin tights and not heavy fleece --and a lightweight hoodie. That way you can keep a little warmer if you need, you won't take up a lot of room in a bag, and if you pick a decent waterproof/resistant hoodie it can do double duty if it rains, which is common enough in Florida that time of year.

/disclaimer: first adult time to Florida/WDW, LOL. But I've traveled a lot in my 32 years.

Agree...wear what you are comfortable in. I'm in my 30s. I don't do dresses unless it's church or a wedding. I wear shorts and t-shirts to Disney, or, if the weather requires, jeans and t-shirt (most recent trips have been in December or January). Most Disney guests are wearing casual comfortable attire.

As everyone else has said, definitely wear anything you want that you're comfortable in! That being said, I also want to look cute at Disney and have thought of a few things like wearing leggings underneath a dress to keep warm. A romper might also be a good idea, it looks cute like a dress and is still comfortable even if it's windy!

I went for spring break when I was 20. I don't really remember the weather that much, but I have photos where I'm wearing a tank top and shorts and some where I have my leather jacket on over a tank top and others where I'm in long pants. I think it's the time of year when you can literally wear anything you're comfortable in, and be comfortable temperature-wise as well.

Girl, I am 42 and I wear hiking shorts (lots of pockets, made of material that will dry quickly) and dry-fit shirts! I look like I am about to go on a hike in Disney. Be comfortable. There is no "dress code" in the parks.
