I remember when I was much younger you used to be able to buy your favorite perfume scent in a loose powder form. It came in a round box with a big, fluffy powder puff. All the fragrance counters had them to match every scent. My mother used to always buy the Jean Nate scent for herself. A young (23 yr. old) co-worker of mine said she has never heard of such a thing.
Am I dreaming, or did this really exist? If it did, why did they stop making it?

My guess is that they (most of them, anyway, I'm sure you could still find a few) got discontinued because they were a HUGE mess! I remember my grandma having some of them, and boy, if you opened that thing at a *slightly* incorrect angle, you had that stuff EVERYWHERE.

How about "I can bring home the bacon, fire it up in a pan, and never never never forget your a Man--cause I'm a WOMAN--Enjoli!"
