Ladies or Gents..do you wear lipstick?

I don't, it looks horrible on me. I wear a clear gloss or CarMax lip balm...so not sexy but makes my lips feel good

Always. I look washed out if I don't. Most people who think lipstick doesn't look good on them have chosen the wrong shade for their coloring. That CAN look really bad.

I always wear it. However I have never found a shade I truly loved, or bought more than once. The quest for the perfect color is still on.

I do remember that Blistex used to have a special lip balm that they marketed "for men". It was designed to not look glossy when applied. They even had TV ads with a mobster feel where one guy is telling his subordinate that he needs to use this because "It's for men Johnny." The hint is that other lip balms make it look like a guy is wearing ladies lipstick.

I did a little research, and it was "Blistex Clear Advance". I can't find any version of the ad though, although there are some offers to sell what are probably 5 year old tubes of lip balm (since it's been discontinued).

I bought this a few times. What I remember about it was that it went on almost clear with no shine. It had a vaguely sweet taste to it, but wasn't fruity tasting.

I do because I just don't look finished without it. Sometimes I wear lipstick and gloss together. Or I mix two lipsticks when I can't find the perfect color. I know what others mean by looking washed out.

Every day, basically. If I do my make up to any extent, I am wearing lipstick. Bright, hot, blood red most of the time.
My sister makes fun of my lipstick collection cause it's 98% shades of deep red lol but I love it.

Occasionally, I'd wear a soft pink, kinda tan color but that's only like twice a month lol

Funny, I am just the opposite - I haven't work gloss since high school, maybe college. I don't like the way it feels (or tastes - if I want bubble gum, I'll chew a piece ).

I wear lipstick but it is very subtle, just a smidge of color. I agree with a pp sometimes lipstick color is all wrong for someone; or too much. It just depends.

I don't ever wear lipstick, don't see the need for it. My daughter on the other hand is always wearing something, its a 30 minutes process in the mornings to get her make up on. I do know that lipstick is not really popular with the high school/college age, they tend to use lip stain.

I never used to. I am a person who feels like it never looks good on me.

But in my last few Birchboxes I have found a few things I really like! I found some colored balms(coralish colors) that are so nice! I hate really shiny lips and these are just right. And I was sent a Cynthia Rowley creamy lip stain in a nude pink color. Once it dries it is really pretty.

I don't wear makeup in general. I'll wear chapstick and occasionally a tinted chapstick, but it's mostly to protect my lips from sunburn as I work outside.
