OK, I never thought I would do this, but here goes (LADIES ONLY!!!!!!)

I'm 49 - get my drift.

I thought it was great when my friend didn't visit for 3 months, then only stayed 1 1/2 days.

Now she has been with me for 2 weeks. I am starting to feel weak. Is this normal?

That is an awful long time for somebody to visit :sad2: I would ask her to leave. I woould be calling a hotel.

Hi Michie!!! I wish it was that easy

Welcome to pre-menopause. My sister went through some crazy cycles, and it lasted a while. I would suggest making an appointment with your GYN. Wait until the hot flashes start. I worked with a woman going through them, and it is not something I am looking forward to.

BTW, your thread title may not get people to read your OP, LOL! I am 38, and am probably, realistically "middle aged", but not too many people consider themselves middle aged, even at 50! LOL I guess the plan on living 200 years. :lmao:

Is she at your house now while you are at work? I wouldn't like that!! I have a no guest policy; I am not a good hostess.

Unfortunately, no matter where I go, there she is! ;)

:grouphug:
You know what they say about house guests and fish? They both stink after 3 days. :teeth: I'd tell lAunt Flo it's time to go!

Oh. we are not talking about a friend from college or whatnot!!

Tell your primary doc, your friend has worn out her welcome.;)

Go get a blood workup. That way you will know if it is just the hormones talking to you or anemia. It might make you feel better to get concrete info.

I know my worry can be worse than the actual stuff that bothers me.

sorry that is way to long. time to start hinting about her going home.

I'm 49 too. Will turn 50 in January. :sad2: how about you?

Family is teasing me cause I'll be just turning 50 when we go on our trip to Disney World. DD says I'll be too old to go on any rides. :rotfl2:
Oldest DD said I should ask for a birthday pin so everyone will know how old I am. brat! :rotfl2:
