I thought I would let ya'll know that there is a ICC Annaul Conference and Code Developement Hearings from 9/17/06 - 9/30/06 (10/1/06 if needed) and they are staying at Coronado Springs Resort. My DH will be there for these so I found out from him.

You might want to check room availability. This is a nationwide conference so there will be a lot of people.

I'd prefer a deluxe,but I can hndle Mod..I'd really rther not do valuebut I will. Maybe we can take a poll on what level people want/can afford .Remember we can split costs

Especially since we can split the costs I would prefer a deluxe as well.

Didn't someone say we may be able to get a group rate at the Swan or Dolphin? Or did I dream that?

PI sounds like fun to me especially since I've never been there yet.

For those of you interested in the deluxe resort, the Polynesian can actually hold 3-they have a daybed in the room. WL also has the bunkbed rooms, so I guess 3 could fit in there also.

If we do not go with the Grand Gatherings option would anyone here be willing to make us our own little discussion area just for this trip? That way we can have everything available in one place and don't drive all the other DISers nuts with out chatter?

There has to be someone here who can create and maintain a message board.

If we split a room 3 ways it may be even cheaper than splitting a mod room 2 ways - right?

It would be interesting to see what the individual cost would be for 2 people in a mod vs 3 people in the poly or wl! Especially since the poly is on the monorail line and has a pretty neat pool!

OK..I'm going buy general AP rates..I may be off slightly..During value season you will most likely pay at most 120$ a night for a moderate..That's 60$ each for 2 people

Poly's rack rate is 315$ we should say 340$ with tax
It(POLY) would probably drop to around 220 a night with an AP rate.. That is about 73$ a person with 3 in the room

Now the WL/ AKL value rate is 205 per night ..Or 230 after Tax.. It would probably drop to 160$ a night with AN AP. It's an extra 25$ a night for the 3rd adult for a total of 185$ a night or about 62$ each.

It looks like the very cheapest option is 3 people per room at the AKL/WL with an AP rate

We could set it up on Yahoo or EZBoards, something along those lines. Just a thought to keep all the info together for all of us.

CSR is open ,as is standard rate at the POLY and AKL..Woods view is open at the WL,which would be about 10$ more per person

OMG! I just found this thread. I want to go! I don't know if I can justify it. Let me think on it. But definitely keep me in the loop. I would love to have tour World Showcase with anyone who might appreciate it as more than a path from the Boardwalk to Mission Space! Even DH doesn't appreciate it.
Will I need to find my own roomate?

Just checked the calendar. Would you believe both of my boys will be on a scout camping trip from 9/21 until 9/24?
Need to run some numbers and see how much I would need to spend.
